Take it to a reknowned vintage guitar repairer, who understands what your guitar is. Repairing it should increase the value (once its broken, its already lost some value) especially if the parts are replaced with original parts. If your guitar has scratches, cracks, dents etc value will be reduced significantly, but even so, an early 60s J-200 is still a valuable and sought after guitar I doubt you would get that on ebay and these guitars may have sat unsold for quite some time. Is it worth the dealers price or the ebay price?Īs they are sold by dealers, prices are high. Dealers prices can be more than double what people pay on ebay etc. Value depends on how good condition wise, how original etc, but more importantly who is selling it to who.
